MANY = MANH: Many Random Compositions is a visual compilation of over 200 colorful image compositions, each featuring a letter that combines Korean and English. The English word “many” means, as an adjective, “consisting of or amounting to a large but indefinite number.” The Korean translation is “많이,” or “manh-i.” These two similar-meaning, similar-sounding words are the basis for this exploration of combining letterforms from different alphabets to create many random compositions.
